I like to dip in & out of these LEGO magazines depending solely on what the build or Minifigure if given away at the time.

The longer each magazine theme goes on, be it Batman, Star Wars, Jurassic World and so on, they recycle some of the freebies, which in some cases is a good thing, especially if you missed out on it first time round.

This issue, no.59, includes not one, but two Minifigures!

Front cover

Ok so they’re not as ‘limited edition‘ as the magazine suggests but they are cool and very sought-after Minifigures, and not readily available at such a good price. We’ve seen these two Minifigures in a handful of other sets, mainly in Battle Packs.

Minifigures

Elite Praetorian Guard

This Minifigure comes in the 2019 LEGO Elite Praetorian Guard Battle Pack 75225 set, where only one is supplied, so to get another here in this magazine is quite surprising. We can finally build a small army without shelling out on a slightly bigger set and cost.

Sadly we don’t get a printed head, instead it’s a blank, red piece.

Imperial Snowtrooper

Having checked Bricklink and Brickowl this Imperial Snow Trooper is in fact the only one of its kind. Now I could be wrong as I’m not as clued up on LEGO Star Wars as some, but he doesn’t appear in any other sets (apart from the same magazine back in 2017), actually making him very limited edition indeed!

I really like this Minifigures and happy to have one in my collection.

Both Minifigures are great, and would fit right into anyone’s Star Wars  collection. Their printing is crisp & detailed and looks good. For a £5.99 magazine it truly is a steal at that price!

Magazine:

The magazine itself features the usual stuff, comics, posters, puzzles etc, nothing different there.

The two comics are an enjoyable read and features none-other than Han Solo himself.

The second comic centres around the included Minifigure, the Elite Praetorian Guard and the Supreme Leaders Birthday.

There is a double sided poster. In the centre pages. One side sees R2D2 in action, the other is a LEGO render of the now iconic scene of Rey and Kylo Ren facing off against each other from The Rise of Skywalker

Next issue:

A quick flick to the back page reveals next issues freebie, an A-Wing!

We’ve had A-Wings before but in my boom they are always welcome. I really like these small vechicle builds as they can be used in MOCs and small scenes. Definitely one to get when it’s releases.

Overall:

For the cost this magazine is a must get, you are presented with two great Minifigures which are not massively sought-after but are rare for what they are.

Standard magazine with comics, puzzles etc so nothing new there.

Next issue is one to definitely look for!
