When it comes to custom printed LEGO pieces Minifigs.me is the place to go, they have a ton of cool designs, parts and Minifigures!
What I like most about the company are the thousands of unique elements I can add to my MOCs (my own creation). Taking my projects to the next level and adding something new into the mix which grabs a lot of fellow fans attention.
When browsing their extensive collection I stumbled upon a handful of tiles that feature iconic Movies. Posters reimagined in brick form, from Halloween and Clockwork Orange to The Shining and Jaws. Of course being licenced IPs they have different names, but we all know what they reference.
As you can see they look stunning and highly detailed. The two larger tiels are 2×4 whilst the smaller ones are 2×3, the perfect size for an MOC that is Minifigure-scale.
To show them off in their full awesomeness I created a small bedroom MOC, recreating a typical teenagers room from the 80s/90s. I based it off of what I used to have and keep in my younger self’s room, many years ago, from a desk and storage to a mess-covered floor and of course movie posters plastered over the walls.
Placing the posters in a wonky fashion adds to the overall aesthetic of the room. You’ll also see that we’ve scattered yet more Minifigs.me goodies over the floor and storage unit, these ‘Alien‘ tiles depict various phrases and images that of an ‘Alien Conspiracy‘. I thought these were very apt and part of some people’s youth, Aliens seemed to be all the rage back then!
These tiles can be used however you see fit, are you working on a MOC that would benefit from adding any of these designs into it? Perhaps you’re working on an ‘Area 51‘ design, the ‘No Trespassing‘ sign would be perfect, or a crown of protesters holding ‘Aliens About‘ signs, the uses are endless.
