We love Minifigures here at The Brick Post, they’re great to collect, display, and play with. It’s hard to say just how many we have acquired over the years but it’s safe to say it’s in the hundreds, with no signs of stopping, add custom figures into the mix and you have an amazing mix of characters, including today’s showcase of The Last Of Us!

We have dabbled in custom printed parts and Minifigures before and we can’t get enough of them, especially ones from Minifigs.me, they do such an awesome job of recreating our favourite characters, all using a base of genuine LEGO parts too.

When the new HBO show The Last Of Us dropped a couple of weeks or so ago we knew these Minifigures would be popular, so we just had to have them, I can’t wait to pop them in a MOC (my own creation) or two.

First off both Minifigures look great and feature a ton of details, Ellie has a grubby sleeveless blue shirt and ripped jeans, whilst Joel is sporting a beige jacket, light blue shirt and brown trousers.

Joel’s hair piece is especially cool with his grey locks swept to one side, granted he’s not that grey in both the Game and TV show but I think it works and looks very distinguished.

Turn the Minifigures around and you’ll see yet more awesome details, both have printed back-packs!

What’s so good about Minifigs.me is they go above & beyond, they include printing where LEGO doesn’t, on the sides of torsos. Raise the arms and you see creases in clothing and the straps of the back-packs, such great attention to detail.

Including the fungal infection on Ellie’s arm is the icing on the cake, it finished the Minifigure off nicely, let’s face it, it is essential to the character too. For such a small design the printing is sharp and don’t to a high standard.

The facial designs are clear and Joel looks especially cool with his matching beard and hair combo. Unfortunately he doesn’t have an alternative expression, where-as Ellie has two faces, one with an ‘normal’ expression, the other is slightly more angry and covered in blood, great for making photos and scenes that little more interesting.

If you’re a fan of LEGO and the Games and/or the HBO TV show then you’ll want to grab these and add them to your collection. I personally can’t wait to make a MOC or two and pop them into it, recreating scenes and sharing them with you.
