With LEGO CON coming next month, 18th June, we have all been speculating what will be revealed. One theme in particular may have been given away by a Twitter post today, Avatar! We already heard that a LEGO Avatar: The Way of Water theme will be coming soon but thanks to the official Avatar Twitter account we can expect to see something next month during the LEGO CON itself. The message was simple, an eyes emoji followed by #legocon, make of this what you will be to us and most of the LEGO community it means something will be revealed. […]

Chronicle Books are back with two new LEGO Puzzles coming our way this Autumn! They introduced LEGO Puzzles back in 2020 and they haven’t looked back, the range has proven popular many times over with LEGO fans, from Minifigure inspired ones to Ice Cream Dreams and artistic masterpieces. The two new Autumn releases are again Minifigure centric and come in the form of Minifigure Rainbow (1000 pieces) and a smaller one Minifigure Mystery Puzzles (126 pieces). The Minifigure Mystery Puzzle is part of the second series of this type of puzzle and comes with less pieces than the bigger one […]

A new LEGO inspired book by Chronicle Books has been revealed and it focuses on the world of LEGO photography! The new book, which will be heading our way in October, shines a spotlight on two highly creative and talented fan photography communities, BrickCentral and Stuck in Plastic. If you’re a fan of the publisher you know their books are very high quality and not only make very interesting reading but great coffee-table decoration. We here at The Brick Post can’t wait to get our hands on a copy as we love both Minifigures and LEGO Photography. It is expected to be […]

This coming half-term here in the UK is already shaping up to be filled with fun and freebies thanks to a number of events going on between 28th and 30th May! Smyths Toys are back with another freebie for their half-term party. As with the previous event a couple of weeks ago it is limited to their UK stores. We speculate the free LEGO Jurassic World set will be the Polybag once again as it seemed to be so popular first time round. No purchase is necessary, simply pop into your local store in 28th May.  The London Westfield based event […]

In a record time the 5 out of 9 product ideas have reached the pre-order requirement with 4 selling out completely in just over 12 hours! This comes as a surprise for some as this is the most expensive round since the program began last year, ranging from $129 to $300+. It is unclear if they will hold any more pre-order spots open or call it day, but the sets ordered will start to ship sometime in Spring 2023. Did you manage to get the one(s) you wanted, did you miss out, or simply didn’t like any of the sets? […]

The LEGO Annual has always been a fan favourite, well it has for me personally, as you usually get an awesome Minifigure included! The 2023 LEGO Annual will feature the usual contents such as comic stories, activities, puzzles and more, but what attracts fans is the sometimes exclusive Minifigure, sadly this years one isn’t unique but it certainly is awesome, it’s an Ice Cream suit person. We’ve seen these before in the last wave of LEGO City sets, LEGO City set (60314).  You can pick this up from 15th September, please see the cover image below to wet your appetite.

LEGO have officially unveiled the next set to come out of the LEGO Ideas platform, Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night (21333)! The set is based on one of Van Gogh’s masterpieces, The Starry Night, from 1889. It has been given a 3D LEGO twist and I must say it works extremely well. You’ll also get a Minifigure based on the man himself, along with an easel and The Starry Night painting. It consists of 2,316 pieces and releasing for early for LEGO VIPs and Museum of Modern Art members on 25th May. It’s RRP is £149.99 ($169.99/€169.99/259.99 AUD/219.99 CAD). […]
