A brand new story telling concept has been revealed by LEGO, introducing LEGO Play Stories! Two new books brought to you by LEGO have been revealed, each telling a unique story featuring characters from Ninjago and Friends. The books can be combined with certain LEGO sets in those themes, expanding upon them and along with telling a story, solving puzzles and completing activities.  Both books come with a selection of parts and either a Minifigure or Mini-doll. We reported yester day that the LEGO Pirate Ship Playground (40589) GWP would end 3rd June, the date has now changed to the 18th June, giving you more time to bag the GWP. Also added as a promotion is the brand new LEGO Summer VIP Add-On Pack (40607). It’s that time of the month again when we’re inundated with LEGO magazines, usually a week or two into each month we see a plethora of issues ranging from LEGO City, LEGO Explorer, LEGO Ninjago, LEGO Star Wars, and of course the one we’re going to review today, LEGO Jurassic World! Today, 3rd June, marks the final day the LEGO Pirate Ship Playground (40589) GWP set is available! The set consists of 2 Minifigures and features a Pirate themed Playground. It’s still available free of charge on purchases of £95 ($/€100) or more. The set is still going strong in the UK, Europe and North America (stock varies store to store). The next GWP set to take its place will be the Summer Fun VIP Add-on Pack polybag, watch this space for more news.

LEGO have produced many Passenger Planes over the years with another one releasing soon, but they have yet to release a substantial Airport. There have been many sidebuilds that fall under the Airport umbrella but no real builds or a gateway for Minifigures to book and go on their holidays! The three LEGO Friends sets that were revealed in the recent Japanese LEGO Catalogue have finally been listed on LEGO.com and with it official images and details! There are two new sets and one Advent Calendar releasing in September. As before the Friends sets have really improved and these are no exception, the Ski Chalet looks especially good. Yet more cool LEGO sets have been officially revealed, this time Minecraft gets a look in! LEGO has listed 4 new sets on their website complete with images and details. The Summer 2023 waves of LEGO Minecraft doesn’t disappoint, with a selection of cool looking playsets, from Axolotl and Pumpkin Houses, a new Crafting Box 4.0 and an Iron Golem Fortress. LEGO City and LEGO 2K Drive fan’s will soon be able to get their hands on sets based on the game itself! The box art states you can play the brick-built vehicles in the game too, but as yet the details are a little thin on the ground. A handful of LEGO Star Wars sets have been revealed and listed on LEGO.com. These include 332 Ahsoka’s Clone Trooper Battle Pack (75359), Yavin 4 Rebel Base (75365), Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter (75360) and the LEGO Star Wars 2023 Advent Calendar (75366). These continue the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Clone Wars and the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi.
