A good friend of ours has started a new business venture, which involves a 3D printer. BoomBrickz and Superhero_Bricks have come together to bring you Boom Customs!
If you’re already followers of theirs you’ll know they love everything Superhero related. Their current portfolio is limited but we expect great things from them in the future. In their collection so far is a rather awesome microscale Silver Surfer figure stood on a matching Surfboard. They kindly sent us one to take a closer look at and get our opinion on.
The custom designed, printed and hand finished Silver Surfer and surfboard micro figure has been made to fit on standard LEGO Minifigures hands and studs, perfect for adding to MOCs, scenes and more. With the new Fantastic Four movie releasing soon in cinemas, this will make an amazing addition to any and all Marvel and LEGO fans collections.
I know nothing about the 3D printing process but I can tell this is done well and looks great. They have hand finished each figure and you can tell, no loose threads or sharp edges in sight.
Over the coming weeks I’ll be using this micro Silver Surfer and surfboard figure in photos and sharing them on social media. I’ll make sure to pair it with appropriate LEGO Minifigures from Marvel.
