Blocks Magazine are set to celebrate a rather big milestone, their 100th issue!
The next issue of Blocks Magazine will be their 100th and to celebrate the team take a look back at where it all began, starting with the pilot issue. The issue covers a lot more than just that, you can find out more below via the official blurb.
Blocks Magazine can be found in most newsagents and supermarkets, as well as via a subscription service delivered straight to your door, you can even download a digital copy. Issue 100 should have already landed on subscribers doorsteps, followed by stock in stores from next week.

Blocks magazine celebrates a milestone with Issue 100 and a free poster deal
Blocks magazine is delighted to have reached Issue 100 of the long-running publication for LEGO fans, so there’s a colourful LEGO cake on the cover to mark the occasion. There’s plenty of celebratory content inside, including a trip down memory lane, 100 different ways to connect LEGO bricks and interviews with two beloved LEGO designers – Jamie Berard and Niels Milan Pedersen.
Issue 100 is available worldwide as a single issue or as part of a subscription at blocksmag.com and will be in UK stores from February 2. Everyone who subscribes by March 1 will be in with a chance of winning one of three 10313 Wildflower Bouquet sets!
To celebrate Issue 100 there’s also a new poster available with the LEGO cake cover image on one side and all 100 covers on the reverse. Everyone who takes out a print subscription, or tops up their existing subscription, will get a FREE poster (ends 8.00am GMT on Tues, January 31).

Jamie Berard
As Blocks magazine is a celebration of the LEGO hobby and the talented fans around the world, Jamie Berard is the perfect person to discuss his work in this edition. He went from AFOL to LEGO designer, to leading the LEGO adults product design department and becoming a household name on LEGO Masters. He’s taking us right back to the beginning and discussing how he developed 10182 Café Corner and evolved the modular series, as well as teasing what the new 18+ range can offer.
Niels Milan Pedersen
Jamie might have defined the modern LEGO adult offering, but Niels Milan Pedersen helped define what modern LEGO sets are altogether. He was there in the early days of Castle and Space – and of course Pirates. The LEGO design legend shares stories about coming up with LEGO Pirates, getting hired by the LEGO Group and why Godtfred Kirk Christiansen was a special person to work for. We also have an exclusive look at early sketches for LEGO Pirates elements and an image of 6285 Black Seas Barracuda with the white sails that Niels preferred.
100 Creative Connections
For the creative builders out there, Blocks is featuring 100 Creative Connections – 100 different, inventive ways to put LEGO elements together that you may not have thought of before. There’s 100 of them, so you’re sure to find a few that will help with your next MOC.
