This week’s Minifigure Monday is Lady Liberty (COL084)!

This Lady Liberty minifigure first appeared in the CMF (Collectable Minifigure) Series 6 back in 2012, also a few years later it was conveniently available to get as a LEGO magnet (853600).

I have only visited America once and that was to New York, visiting the Statue of Liberty was one of my favourite things on the trip.

When I first started collecting LEGO and got to learn about the different minifigures available, I just knew this was one I had to get and it’s definitely one I hold a special connection with from my visit to NYC, so much so that i now own 3 of them.

My thoughts:

This Minifigure is one of my favourites.

It has a printed torso and ‘dress piece’ replicating the iconic statue. The head has just the 1 side to her face and comes with the detachable crown.

She stands proud holding her lit flame in one hand and a tile in other hand.

The tile is printed with ‘JULY IV MDCCLXXVI’, the date the Declaration of Independence was signed.
