Here at The Brick Post we love a good hashtag activity to get stuck into, the latest one is by a good friend of ours, David from @totallybricktastic. He is a big LEGO and alternative brick fan and has recently hit 2000 followers on Instagram, congratulations. He started a new hashtag to take part in where you share a set or MOC from your past that brings back great memories or experiences of!

We love things like this and have taken part in the past, remembering the time I picked up my very first LEGO Modular set, Assembly Square. It was a lovely sunny day and my family surprised me with a trip to Brighton and the LEGO store there, where they gifted me with the aforementioned set.

This Weekends Windback is of a build that really surprised me and was an absolute joy to build. When we reviewed it it got a 9.8 out of 10, one of the highest ratings we gave back then. The set is The Mighty Bowser by LEGO, and boy ‘o’ boy it was an awesome set to build to say the least. The techniques, the prints, the flow and of course the final product, it went together perfectly and had just the right amount of Technic (I dislike Technic) to make it sturdy without it being overbearing to build.

If you would like to read about The Mighty Bowser and our take on it, please read our appreciation of it here.

If you would like to share your past experiences with David, please feel free to post your memorable set, MOC other other brick related story on Instagram, tagging @totallybricktastic and using #WeekendWindback.
