Metallica Custom LEGO Minifigures From Minifigs.me!

Having been a fan and affiliate with Minifigs.me for some time now, I can confidently say that they produce some of the best designs and prints out there and at a very affordable price. The characters they do are vast and varied, plucking iconic and well-known figures from iconic British TV shows, American sitcoms, historical figures and today’s review, a heavy/thrash metal band that has gone the distance and produced belter after belter, Metallica. If you don’t buy these custom LEGO Minifigures you will be “Unforgiven“.

Metallica is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by vocalist & guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich, they has been based in San Francisco for most of its career. They are known around the globe for their heavy/thrash metal music and many hits, including Master Of Puppets, Nothing Else Matters, One and so many more. 

The Minifigs.me team have done an outstanding job with this set of custom figures, from the design and printing to the hair choices and accessories. Each band member has been portrayed perfectly in Minifigure form and you can tell who is who with just a quick glance.

As you can see they all have an awesome amount of printing, but the James Hetfield Minifigure has the most and looks fantastic. His waistcoat is covered in patches and band related insignia, I particularly like the large Metallica album cover on the back, it’s so crisp and colourful, they really know how to print onto genuine LEGO!

Included in the bundle is a rather cool drumkit, complete with cymbals and a printed Metallica drum cover, all presented on a 8×6 black plate. It’s nice to get a small build included and really adds to the charm of the set, although adding a few more drums and such is a must to make it imitate real-life.

I’ll take these figs “Wherever I may roam“, including out and about to take some cracking photographs.
