The latest issue (91) of the LEGO Star Wars Magazine is out and bundled with a very ‘cool’ Minifigure, pun intended, Luke Skywalker in his Hoth gear!

The magazine itself is chock-full of puzzles and activities, such as dice based games and mazes. These are great fun for the intended younger fans, offering up a fun yet experience that’ll pass the time.

A fun addition to this magazine, and others in the LEGO family, are the comic book stories, usually centred around the character that comes stuck to the front cover. Obviously Luke Skywalker is going to be in it with a new story revolving around him and his friends.

In every issue, no matter what theme it is, you’ll find a poster or two, in this latest outing the double-sided poster features Darth Vader himself along with his ride and his crib, on the other side is a Rebel Pilot with a cocky grin.

I personally keep the posters safe in a folder ready to hang when I finally get a LEGO room big enough to hang them. Do you keep them? Let me know in the comments below.

Included in this issue is a Minifigure, but not just any Minifigure, it’s Luke Skywalker in his Hoth/Snow gear!

This isn’t exactly an exclusive Minifigure as it was in the recent LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, but seeing as how that set has essentially now been discontinued, the Magazine is the only ly place to get hold of it.

As always these Magazines allow you to grab rare Minifigures at a more affordable price, which I’m all for, bring on the next character.

Luke comes with two facial expressions, one with a small angry smirk the other is a more happy one. The tan hat piece is great too complete with white visor. His torso and leg prints match up well and the designs look fantastic, finishing the character off nicely. The icing on the cake is definitely the Lightsaber, complete with shiny hilt.

Most of these LEGO Magazines are worth picking up especially if they come with a rare Minifigure. Watch this space for all the latest LEGO news and reviews.
