With the LEGO One Piece sets just about the corner, LEGO has gifted One Piece creator, Eiichiro Oda, a special gift!

The infamous manga artist has been gifted a rather special and intriguing brick-built LEGO treasure chest, inside is a Gum-Gum Fruit. This bright purple fruit gave Luffy his powers of stretchyness (if that’s a word), which we see in both the original animations and new Netflix show. The set based on the Netflix series are expected to be revealed very soon, so watch this space closely.

Check out the video below of Eiichiro Oda opening the chest and getting excited for whats inside. Share your thoughts in the comments section.
