Thanks to the Mexico LEGO Certified Store, we have our first official look at three new LEGO DreamZzz sets! These sets will not appear in store for a few more months, with Dreamzzz wave 3 set for release on August 1st.
The new sets look fantastic and are different to what we’ve had from previous waves. They feature larger scale builds of a Raven, C-Rex and Z-Blob Mech. With C-Rex being a clever pun on being Cooper’s T-Rex.
The sets show some familiar Dream Chasers getting a new look, which is a great move with the first versions being available in quite a few sets. These new sets will also feature evil clones of the Dream Chasers by the Never Witch. So we get Matteo and MadTeo, Izzy and Dizzy, Logan and Dogan, Zoey and Doey and finally Cooper and Dooper.
Especially the Never Wich’s Midnight Raven looks spectacular, with articulated wings and some new decorative elements to give it a great look. The C-Rex meanwhile seems to be a coninuation of the 71458 Crocodile Car, sharing a similar colour scheme and use of (race)car parts in the head.
All 3 sets include new ravens which look spectacular, the grimspawn like Snievel and Sneak are included in their familiar forms from previous waves. According to rumours we can expect another 6 new sets in the next Dreamzzz wave. 1 will be a big D2C set, the others will be smaller than these, with the smallest expected to be a polybag.
