If you’re a fan of LEGO and Minifigures but long for certain characters that aren’t officially produced by LEGO then we highly recommend Minifigs.me, they use genuine LEGO parts to print onto!

A lot of their catalogue focuses on Movies & TV shows, with a sprinkling of custom printed tiles, jewellery and other elements. Their personalisation is top notch and a service I’ve used a lot over the years, from names on torsos to custom designed expressions for my Sigfig.

Beatrix Potter

Purchase

Beatrix Potter was an English writer and illustrator who was most famous for her children’s books featuring a well-known rabbit called Peter. She was also a scientist and conservationist and all-round great woman – so Minifigs.me made her into a minifig.

20% of sales of this minifigure are split between Kiva and the Chrysalis Youth Empowerment Network.

Hidden Mini(Figures)

Purchase

These three women were hidden figures who helped to get us to the moon!

All were mathematicians. Katherine Johnson was famous for her calculations of orbital mechanics, Mary Jackson was NASA’s first black female engineer, and Dorothy Vaughan was the first black woman to become a supervisor and then became an early proponent of computer programming.

These figures are all custom-printed onto genuine LEGO parts. We feel they would fit nicely with the LEGO Ideas Women of NASA set, so we are offering the option of buying them with their names printed on white 1 x 4 tiles. That way, you can create your own little display MOC and use the name tiles to complete the look!
