We love Minifigures here at The Brick Post and when Andy from Minifigure Monarchs reached out about his upcoming book and Kickstarter campaign, we jumped at the chance to take a closer look!
Being British myself I find this to be a fascinating subject to cover, the Monarchy is a staple of our history and for it to be presented in Minifigure form is one I’m very interested in. Henry VIII is one King that stands out to me the most, seeing him portrayed in LEGO is both stunning and fun, it’s a Minifigure I never knew I needed.
The book itself is full of Minifigures and bricks that tell the story of the English and British Monarchy and their history of the past 1200 years. Featuring Kings and Queens of England but with a brick twist, there are all represented in Minifigure form and they look great too. Dive head first into key historical events and moments captured in 200 impressively detailed scenes created from scratch with bricks.
