Whilst perusing Instagram a sponsored LEGO advert popped up and it grabbed my attention, it was promoting a new GWP (gift with purchase)!
In the background it shows a somewhat blurry image of the LEGO FRIENDS Central Perk set, in the foreground however it shows a new, shiny Coffee Mug with the six main FRIENDS characters in Minifigure-form.

As you’d rightfully think the new mug would be gifted with purchases of the new LEGO FRIENDS Apartments (10292) set, but you’d be wrong. It is in fact only available against purchases of the older LEGO FRIENDS Central Perk set – oh and limited to online.
I hopped onto the excellent LEGO Chat service, found within their Customer Service area, and asked when it started, I can confirm that the promotion commences online from the 1st June, and limited to new purchases only!
