The LEGO® System in Play Expands with Brick-by-Brick Building and More Customisation Options Coming to Unreal Editor for Fortnite
Orlando, United States, 3rd June 2025: The LEGO Group and Epic Games have today announced two brand new updates coming to Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), including the most requested feature of all, brick-by-brick building, announced during the State of Unreal.

LEGO® Brick Editor and LEGO® Bloom Tycoon arrive later this month and further extend the iconic LEGO System in Play in a digital setting.

LEGO Bloom Tycoon will be available from the 17th June 2025 and includes five new galleries that will inspire creators to build the most incredible gardens and bountiful farms. With over 200 new assets being made available there is an abundance of new visual and gameplay opportunities for green fingered creators. Included in this harvest of an update are props, animals and gameplay pieces that can shape entirely new experiences from the ground up. Creators will have the tools they need to craft new flourishing worlds, invent new game modes and with tycoon-style gameplay, extend playtime in their LEGO Islands.

LEGO UEFN

With the ambition and commitment to ensuring UEFN creators have the freedom and resources to play their way, the new LEGO Brick Editor brings brick-by-brick building to UEFN and further expands the creative toolkit available to creators. Launching on the 17th June, LEGO Brick Editor gives creators the chance to free-build custom assets such as bridges and houses with LEGO bricks for the first time. With 50 LEGO bricks available at launch, the LEGO Brick Editor expands what has previously been possible for creators. The bricks are supported by a building tool which allows for easy placing and snapping of the LEGO assets. Creators can also change the colours of individual elements in LEGO Brick Editor and choose from up to 42 production-specific colours matching actual LEGO bricks.

LEGO UEFN

“We are so excited to see what the UEFN community make with these new updates. We are continually blown away by the creativity and imagination we see from creators, and we believe these new tools, assets and templates significantly expand the creative toolkit to build LEGO Islands”, said Kari Vinther Nielsen, Head of Product, Play & Creator Growth, GAME at the LEGO Group “Our objective is to continually offer deeper customisation and control to the hugely talented UEFN creators and through LEGO Bloom Tycoon and LEGO Brick Gallery we are putting creativity in the spotlight and giving creators what they are asking for – more bricks!”
