With the LEGO IdeasThe Orient Express Train‘ (21344) releasing in a few days, a rather painful production error was discovered by LEGO.

Stickers in the initial production run will lack the desired metallic golden finish, instead it is a plain yellow finish.

The official statement from LEGO reads:

We identified a color error in the sticker sheet for LEGO set 21344 and we have already implemented the change for future production runs. In the meantime, the parts warehouse has stock of the correct sticker sheets and we will provide replacement stickers upon request.
