As part of the LEGO Back to the Future Delorean (10300) LEGO released a short teaser video that featured Marty McFly & Doc Brown, in Minifigure form, going on an adventure to find a missing piece in order to get home, along their way they travel to a Medieval town, that has a massive brick-built Castle at its centre. If recent rumours are true, of a LEGO 90th Anniversary Castle set, could this be the one featured in the video?

The rumoured set, Lion King’s Castle (10305), is speculated to be around the €349.99 mark which means it’ll be huge, looking at the Castle in the video it would be around that size. Another clue is the fact that the Knights/Guards have the Lion King/Crusaders insignia on their chest plates. All this reinforces the claim that it could be the 90th Anniversary set.

LEGO have a long running tradition to hide upcoming sets in teasers so who knows, this could well be that, on the other hand it could just be a standalone MOac Castle and nothing to do with the rumoured 90th Anniversary Castle!

  1. Please make this set Lego. Life long fan and castles are the most iconic sets to me. Been hoping for years they would make a highly detailed castle set. This would be incredible if it pans out.

    1. You’re in lick Andrew, the are rumours the 90th Anniversary set is a Castle, and it’ll be quite a substantial size for €349.99 😎

  2. This is funny. I had the same thougts on that.
I have some additional thoughts on that in my YT Video. (unfortunatelly in German)

First: There is no set shown, which has not been produced – except the castle…
Second: Timemachine from BTTF cannot change place, only time. But place needs to be changed to get in the european medieval in Oct 26th 1085 (visible at parking)
Third: Range of BTTF is normally 1885 – 2015.

Here are all used LEGO Sets of the medieval scene: https://youtu.be/XzFcAbLA9FM?t=227

Very analytical but maybe completely wrong 😀
