Cast your memories back a couple of years when LEGO first announced that they’ll be accelerating their sustainability efforts, starting off with converting plastic bags found inside sets to paper ones.

Todat the LEGO Group have revealed that from September 2023 the packaging for their Collectable Minifigures line will get the same treatment. The packaging will be made from cardboard, which is great for the environment, but it also means that the days of fondling then in-store and supermarkets will be a thing of the past!

This isn’t a new thing either as most LEGO fans will know the VIDIYO CMF Series also came in cardboard boxes.

Take a look below at some of the concepts LEGO went through when testing. I’d love to know your thoughts on the matter so head down to the comments section and share.
