This week’s Minifigure Monday is, Moaning Myrtle (COLHP36)

Moaning Myrtle (COLHP36)

I haven’t chosen a minifigure from Harry Potter yet and being a huge fan it was only a matter of time when one would show up.

This Moaning Myrtle appeared in The Harry Potter collectible minifigures (CMF) Series 2 (71028) in 2020 and is one of my favourite from the Harry Potter CMF range.

My thoughts:

I must say over the years the CMF range of minifigures have got better and better every year and this one doesn’t disappoint!

Myrtle has 2 different faces, both showing Myrtle’s typical moods; one is upset and crying while the other shows her very angry frown. The skin tone is a light blue ish colour which almost gives that glowing, ghostly effect.
Her hair piece is great and represents how the character has it on screen in the movies.

The printing on the torso and legs is amazing and really shows well the old fashioned Hogwarts uniform she would of been wearing.

The accessory with this one is Tom Riddle’s diary which has his initials printed on the outside.
Inside the diary has a printed tile featuring the first words of Harry’s interaction with Tom Riddle’s memory.

“My name is Harry Potter”

“Hello…”
