This year marks the 30th anniversary of LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, celebrate with a giant brick-built cake!

The huge milestone is being celebrated throughout the year with a massive and very impressive 13‑foot LEGO cake, made with 200,000 bricks. Dotted around the cake are attractions from the park itself, including Minifigure Speedway’s Roxie, Miniland’s London Skyline, and more. The oversized confectionery was designed and built by the Resort’s longest‑serving creative duo, who have a combined experience of 55 years. To see this amazing feat of LEGO engineering for yourself, it goes on display 14th February, perfect timing for Valentine’s Day, Brick Days, and February half‑term

The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort kick started its 30th birthday celebrations by unveiling a spectacular giant LEGO® birthday cake, standing 13 feet tall and built from 200,000 bricks

The attraction’s longest‑serving pair of model makers, Paula Laughton and Paula Young, put the final bricks in place as they celebrate a combined 55 years of creativity and craftsmanship at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort

The spectacular creation goes on display this Saturday 14th February, kicking off the start of half term

Wednesday 11th February: It’s a piece of cake… made entirely of bricks! The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort is today celebrating the start of its 30th year in spectacular style by unveiling a giant birthday cake built from a staggering 200,000 LEGO® bricks.

The colourful creation, which took a team of five expert model makers 1,000 hours to design and build, is a joyful tribute to the attraction’s three decades of creativity, play, and imagination, where awesome family memories are made.

The 13 feet tall LEGO model, which features birthday and Windsor themed toppers – including Woodland Village, Maximus the Sky Lion, Minifigure Speedway’s Roxie, and Miniland’s London Skyline, will go on display from this Saturday 14th February in time for February half-term and for the return of the attraction’s Brick Days to kick start the attraction’s 30th birthday celebrations.

LEGOLAND Windsor’s longest-serving creative duo – model makers, Paula Laughton and Paula Young, have been busy organising the finishing touches to the cake, and together, have dedicated an extraordinary 55 years to bringing the park’s iconic LEGO builds to life.

Since opening in March 1996, LEGOLAND Windsor has welcomed millions of guests from across the globe, becoming a much-loved destination for families and LEGO fans alike.

The giant cake is the first of many special surprises planned throughout 2026, as the Resort celebrates its landmark year.

The LEGO birthday cake will be on display throughout the year until autumn, with guests able to visit this February half-term for the return of Brick Days from Saturday 14 to Monday 23 February 2026. Guests can enjoy rides and attractions, new character meet and greets, live entertainment, hands-on LEGO building challenges, and the brand-new 30th Birthday Brick Bash - a high-energy party show perfect for kicking off the year’s festivities.

Day tickets to the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort for ‘Brick Days’ start at £32pp and must be pre-booked online at www.legoland.co.uk Limited tickets available. Children under 0.9 metres get free entry to LEGOLAND.
