The Brick Loft here, back with another review, this time it’s the iconic World Trade Center from LetBricks. The 1/2000 micro model is similar to the a certain brands Architecture range, small but mighty and looks amazing on display.

First off, I’d like to say a big thank you to LetBricks and Greg from The Brick Post for giving me the opportunity to build and review this set, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’ve always been a fan of the leading brands Architecture and I have many in my collection including New York skyline, Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building, but there was never one made for the World Trade Center.
When I saw this set I knew it would fit well with my current collection.

I don’t really need to point out the obvious that this is not a leading brand set but it’ll help when it comes to some comparisons like the instructions, building experience and the bricks themselves.
The instructions are really clear to follow and very similar to what I’ve experienced before. After opening the packaging you are presented with bags of bricks, instruction manual and a LetBricks sticker.

This leads me onto the bags – there are 11 bags in total but unfortunately the bags are not numbered! It’s a case of opening all 11 bags and organising over 900 pieces and finding what you need along the way. Luckily the brick elements aren’t mixed up much which makes the organising a little easier.
The bricks – clearly they are not the leading brand but they are really good nonetheless. As a lot of the build was tiling & grill pieces with a lot of the studs hidden, it was very easy to forget I wasn’t building with the leading brand and once built you would find it hard to believe it wasn’t an official Architecture sets.

For me the overall look of the finished set is perfect and the build itself was enjoyable like when I’ve built other sets like this. The only let down for me personally was not having numbered bags. I like it when sets are broken down into stages. This makes the building experience feel like it lasts longer and also gives opportunity to take some photos along the way. This is only a very slight negative and something that could easily change in the future, who knows.
Don’t let this stop you from getting what I think is overall a great set.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review.
