Here at The Brick Post we like to dive into more than just LEGO sets and with thanks to Chronicle Books we have a couple of LEGO themed goodies to reveiw for you. Today we’ll focus on the How We Create Inspiration Deck!

This particular item caught my eye especially as, like a lot of AFOLs (Adult Fan Of LEGO), it provides motivational quotes and building prompts to kickstart you in your next LEGO journey.

The box itself is bright and inviting, it lists a lot of details on both the front & back including previews of a couple of the cards inside. It is similar in design to other products from Chronicle Books such as the Build Every Day book.

Slice the tabs, slide out the tray and you’re presented with the desk itself and a tri-fold ‘how-to‘ guide.

There are four categories of card, each with their own design on the back – ‘inspiration’, ‘Build it’, ‘Creative’ and ‘Play’.

Depending on your mood simply pick a card from any of the categories and get building. You could combine the cards and pick a couple to take inspiration from, to really challenge yourself why not pick one of each.

I particularly like how easy and straightforward the process is from opening the box, selecting a card and either reading or building what is suggested. Perfect for a rainy Sunday afternoon with family and friends.

Our next review will be the LEGO Minifigure A Day 2024 Calendar, watch this space.
