A bricktacular pumpkin patch, kicks off the spooky season at LEGOLAND Windsor with LEGO® pumpkins built from over 40,000 bricks

2nd October 2025: LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort is putting a playful twist on the spooky season with the unveiling of its first-ever pumpkin patch.

Taking centre stage outside the attraction’s iconic Knight’s Castle, the 500 strong pumpkin patch features a mix of real pumpkins and LEGO® creations. Weighing a mighty 103kg in total, the impressive LEGO pumpkins were brought to life with 44,686 bricks and 134 hours of expert model making.

This first-of-its-kind build comes off the back of new research from LEGOLAND Windsor, revealing almost a fifth of kids would choose LEGO bricks as their top trick or treat choice.

Alongside LEGO bricks, stickers and bouncy balls were among the most popular treats kids are hoping to receive this Halloween, proving this spooky season is not just about the sugar rush, it’s about the fun of building, playing and creating fang-tastic masterpieces.

The research sample of 2,000 5–12-year-olds who hope to get LEGO bricks whilst trick or treating this Halloween were asked why they’d like to receive LEGO bricks, 59% of children said it’s because they can build things, and 57% said it’s because they can play with them, showing just how much kids value creativity and imaginative play.

When it comes to trick-or-treating, the vast majority of the children (88%) said they enjoy sharing their haul. The most common recipient was their mum, with 54% selecting this option closely followed by brothers and sisters (53%). Greater London was the most generous region, with 93% of kids surveyed in the area saying they plan to share their treats, whatever they may be!

Ramesh Ganeson, Vice President at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, said“Play is the number one treat at LEGOLAND Windsor this Halloween. Whether it’s discovering our first ever pumpkin patch or building memories with LEGO bricks, LEGOLAND Windsor is all about sparking imagination and giving families a day to remember. This year, its pumpkins, play, Monster Party and plenty of bricks!”

Families visiting this Halloween can start their day at the new pumpkin patch with a spook-tacular game of gourd-spotting – hunting down the LEGO pumpkins among a sea of real gourds. Afterwards, the boo-rilliant fun continues with fang-tastic activities at the attractions Brick or Treat event.

Little monsters can take brick or treating to a new level on the brand-new Trick or Treat trail, where a motley crew of ghoulish characters, including Skeleton Guy, Monster Rocker, and Mummy, bring spooky surprises around every turn. Also new this year is Lord Vampyre’s House Party, where the dance floor is alive and guests can groove their bones-off, as the resort is transformed into a bewitching party venue.

Tickets for LEGOLAND Windsor start from £34 per person, with kids under 90cm going free.

‘Brick or Treat’ runs throughout the month of October with activities on select dates between October 4th – November 1st. Activities include the fang-tastic Monster Jam Harbour Show, spooky fun on the Trick or Treat Trail and an electrifying new DJ show in the ride queue and a brand-new House Party with Lord Vampyre.
