Last week we reported that LEGO had confirmed the LEGO Mini Disney Castle (40478) via a listing found in their instruction datebase. Now LEGO Mexico has revealed official images and given us our first real look at the set!

As you can see the box art depicts a micro-scale recreation of Cinderella’s Castle, this coincides with the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World resorts.

Also the set includes an exclusive Minifigure of Mickey Mouse which is different from the one found in LEGO Disney Castle (71040).

LEGO Mexico shared the images via their Instagram account which can been seen here with the following, translated, caption:

Bring all the Disneyland fantasy to your home with the next LEGO® launch. Very soon in our #LEGOStoresMx it will be available and you can’t miss it.

We speculate a release date of 1st October 2021, as the resorts opened it’s doors for the first time on that day back in 1971!

Sadly no other details have surfaced yet and the cost of the set is still unknown, but please do check back regularly as we’ll update this when with any new information.
