Pablo Sánchez Jiménez submitted his idea and in just 25 days he had received the 10,000 votes needed to have this set reviewed by LEGO. He came up with this idea from the Classic Pirate sets which first launched 31 Years ago!

Complete finished build

This very retro and nastalgic set consists of 2,545 piecs making it the second largest LEGO Ideas set ever released!

The box art also resembles the Classic Pirate sets of old and I am very happy they’ve decided to keep the tradition going.

Eight Classic Pirate Minifigures are included and they look really well done, again continuing the look and feel of the originals.

If having a Pirate set isn’t enough you can take the three ship sections off the Brick built stands and combine them to make a fully intact Pirate Ship!

PIRATE SHIP!

The Ship itself is jam-packed with details and features and that all important playability factor, because let’s face it, we’ll all be transported back to our LEGO childhoods, swoosh-buckling and shouting ‘Arrgghh’ every five seconds!

All hands on deck!

Stocking up so an adventure

I personally cannot wait for this to hit shelves April 1st, who’s with me?!
