Each Year Bright Bricks build and display wonderful LEGO creations at Marwell Zoo in Winchester.

This Years theme is Supersized Creatures, from a huge Peacock Spider to an oversized Grasshopper Mouse, these creations are truly frightening.

Staff at the Zoo were invited to have a closer look and get to know them before they are placed around the grounds.

The attraction will open this Easter so make sure to pop in and give yourself a scare 😉

Terrifying!

It’s estimated that Bright Bricks (part of the Bricklive Group) will use two million bricks and take 10,000 hours to complete this World-first!

To give us an idea of scale, the Peacock Spider is 208 times larger than its real life counterpart, which is 0.5 cm in size; that’s smaller than a fingernail.

The sculptures will be on display at Marwell Zoo from April 4th to September 3rd 2020, starting with 30 out of the total 40 creatures of various sizes in 16 locations around the park, and more models arriving for May half term and the summer.
