As avid fans of bricks, we have our fair share of sets, either built, waiting to be built, or somewhere in between. There are many storage options around but nothing like Brick Bagz, the sustainable solution to keep your sets organised, reusable, and ready for play — again and again!

We were approached by the team behind this new product to test and give our verdict on – and to share how you can get your hands on them. The Kickstarter campaign will start 30th June, which you can sign up to be notified once they go live and take advantage of the lower price by backing the campaign straight away.

Brick Bagz offers eco-friendly, durable storage solutions for brick enthusiasts of all ages. Designed by parents and builders, our vibrant bags

During the Kickstarter campaign, the Brick Bagz will be sold at a discount to their retail cost (£9.99 (small), £13.99 (medium), £17.99 (large), £23.99 (extra large)). There will be several tiers where discounts will be applied from 20% to 35% depending on the bundle which you select. This would be the perfect time to grab the ones you need to keep your sets organised and stored, I’ll definitely be grabbing a couple more – read what we think of them below.

As a thank you for backing the Kickstarter campaign, you will also receive a discount code of 10% to make any further purchases through their online store.

To test the Brick Bagz fully, we decided to build a LEGO set from start to finish, with a little ‘clear-up’ break in between. The set we chose was the recent LEGO Baby Astronaut (40767) GWP set, small, sweet and a quick build, it’s the perfect size for a this particular Brick Bagz.

First things first we wanted to slip the instruction manual into the clear sleeve on the back of the Brick Bagz, it slot in and fit a treat, which was very satisfying to say the least. This window is perfect for keeping manuals in as when they’re on the shelf all packed away, you can easily pull one out and check which set it is, I can see myself having a fair of these all lined up with broken down sets in them.

After cracking the first bag open, I wanted to try out the Brick Bagz itself, so I scooped up the pieces and popped then inside. The fabric innards have the Brick Bagz logo printed on it and it looks awesome. The smooth feel helps the bricks & pieces inside to sit happily and not snag the fabric, it also helps when tipping out your LEGO pieces.

This it why the team at Brick Bagz designed and made this product, to fill a gap in the market to store broken down sets, spare pieces and anything else you want to store. They believe in sustainability too and it shows with the type of materials they use. High-quality, durable, and eco-friendly fabrics that stand the test of time and designed to handle endless cycles of use, keeping your bricks safe and organised while reducing waste – every bag is built to last.

Each of the four bags available can hold different quantities of bricks, below is a handy guide of just how many parts can be stores inside.

  • Small – Holds up to 100-200 bricks
  • Medium – Holds up to 300-500 bricks
  • Large – Holds up to 500-700 bricks
  • Extra Large – Holds up to 1,200-1,500 bricks

This hands-on experience of the upcoming Brick Bagz product has opened my eyes to a new way to store by bricks & pieces. Before I used to grab any old zip lock bag or tie handle bag and chuck my sets into them – now that I have given this Brick Bagz a real test I can say with certainty that this is definitely the future and once the Kickstarter campaign launches, 30th June, I will be grabbing a couple more. They aren’t just practical, they look good too!

By pledging through Kickstarter, you will be one of the first to receive the bag in early October and receive a discount of up to 40%, a once in a lifetime price for these amazing Brick Bagz.
