One of the latest designs to gain the required 10,000 supporters at LEGO Ideas is an oversized Brick Separator!

This build, The LEGO Separator (Large-Scale) by BrickAviator, is a display-focused tribute to one of the most iconic and underrated tools in the LEGO ecosystem: the hunble brick separator. Designed entirely using standard LEGO elements, the project not only captures the instantly recognisable shape of the separator but also turns the handy tool into an artistic, structural, and symbolic centerpiece worthy of any fans collection. It could become a future LEGO Ideas set if chosen by the powers that be in a future review stage.

For many, the orange brick separator is simply a helpful tool that appears in larger sets. But to anyone who builds regularly—be it casually or professionally—it quickly becomes an essential part of the creative process. BrickAviator

The idea looks great and one many LEGO fans would love to get their hands on, it’s the perfect display piece. I think the overall look is fantastic and brings something very different to the LEGO Ideas table, with its size it is sure to be a conversation starter. The Giant LEGO Separator isn’t just big for the sake of being big. It’s big because it deserves to be. Because in every build, every mistake corrected, every tight plate removed—this humble tool plays a part. And now, finally, it gets its moment in the spotlight.

Unfortunately reaching the required goal of 10,000 supporters doesn’t guarantee it’ll be made into a real-life LEGO set, but there is hope for fans as the LEGO Ideas team will debate on and choose which sets will be lucky enough to make it through sometime next/this year – we wish BrickAviator the best of luck in the next stage.
