One of the latest designs to gain the required 10,000 supporters at LEGO Ideas is inspired by The Addam’s Family!
The design and build is by BrickSmith10, and features the four main characters in Minifigure form on with Thing. This highly detailed, dollhouse-style section of the Addams Family Mansion is crafted to reflect the eerie charm and gothic elegance the family is known for. The model opens from the back to reveal a fully furnished interior with multiple rooms, Minifigure-scale storytelling, and nods to classic The Addam’s Family moments from the TV series, movies, and modern adaptations.
It’s a combination of display piece and interactive set, made for fans of LEGO architecture, Halloween aesthetics, and dark comedy. Every window, archway, and cobweb-covered corner is carefully constructed to honor the spooky-yet-loveable world of The Addam’s Family.

The idea looks great and one many LEGO fans would like to get their hands on, it’s the perfect display piece, plus it would be the first time The Addam’s Family have appeared in standard LEGO form rather than Friend Minidolls. I think the overall look is fantastic and brings something different to the LEGO Ideas table, a display centric design that could be adapted into a full modular.
Unfortunately reaching the required goal of 10,000 supporters doesn’t guarantee it’ll be made into a real-life LEGO set, but there is hope for fans as the LEGO Ideas team will debate on and choose which sets will be lucky enough to make it through sometime next/this year – we wish BrickSmith10 the best of luck in the next stage.
