One of the latest designs to gain the required 10,000 supporters at LEGO Ideas is a brick recreation of Rocket League!
The build, Rocket League Playset by 67c3D, is a brick-built representation of the popular video game of the same name, Rocket League. It is a free-to-play, physics-based “soccar” (soccer with rocket-powered cars) game developed by Psyonix. Released in 2015, it features fast-paced 1v1 to 4v4 matches, cross-platform play across PC (Epic Games), PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. Known for high-skill mechanics, it offers casual, competitive, and “Extra Modes” (hockey/basketball).
The design includes six play-scale cars from the game, a ball, and a goal, so you can act out your best shots or just display your favourite car designs. This set should be instantly recognisable to fans of the game and suit every rank – even Platinum. The car included are; Octane, Fennec, Dominus, Merc, Roadhog, and Scarab.

The idea looks great and one many LEGO fans would love to get their hands on, it’s the perfect display piece. I think the overall look is fantastic and brings something very different to the LEGO Ideas table, I personally would grab a copy of the set as both my Son and myself play this game on a daily basis. Not only would it be an awesome looking display piece, the potential to actually use it as a game it cool too, using the cars to push the ball into the other teams goal would be fun and satisfying.
Unfortunately reaching the required goal of 10,000 supporters doesn’t guarantee it’ll be made into a real-life LEGO set, but there is hope for fans as the LEGO Ideas team will debate on and choose which sets will be lucky enough to make it through sometime next/this year – we wish 67c3D the best of luck in the next stage.
