The creator of the mini-scale Project Hail Mary ship, SawyerBrickTime, is back with a midi-scale version!
To build your very own Hail Mary from Project Hail Mary, you’ll need a copy of the now retired LEGO set the Tantive IV from Star Wars. The ship has been faithfully recreated in a much more affordable way, compared to purchasing the official LEGO set, thanks to SawyerBrickTime. The talented creator has taken the LEGO Star Wars Tantive IV (75376) set and transformed it into something truly epic. The Hail Mary ship already has an official LEGO set, which will set you back £99.99, making it unaffordable for some fans of the hobby.
This budget-friendly micro-scale Hail Mary alternative build uses parts from the aforementioned set, and nothing more, I fact you’ll have quite a few left over. The model captures the ship’s distinctive cylindrical design while maintaining a sturdy, display-ready structure.

The ship in very stable, with its triangular Technic-built core and reinforced solar panel wings. The model comes with a beam attachment to allow for the centrifuge mode! This upgraded version is larger and more detailed than the original micro-version, allowing for smoother shaping and a more refined silhouette while staying efficient and part-conscious. If you have the LEGO Tantive IV (75376) set, and want a refresh for your shelf, check out this alternate build!
The designer has done an incredible job with the build and would be on most fans list to add to their collections. If the images are anything to go by it’ll be a blast to put together. SawyerBrickTime has produced a high quality design that will sit an any shelf with ease and not look out of place at all.
To build your own, visit Rebrickable and purchase the instructions for just $3.50, it’s a steal when you think just how much work went into the build itself and the production of the instruction manual. You’ll need to have the original LEGO Tantive IV (75376) set. Check out the images below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
