This week’s LEGO Ideas feature is something I think would fit into a Cityscape rather well, The Circus by Goannas89 not only looks great, it is chockablock with details and play features!

The build is inspired by the traditional tent-style building we all know and love, capturing the shape and colour scheme perfectly. With two taller support masts with flags and the colourful bunting running along the top and sides, to the open curtain entrance and vendors outside.

Children, ladies and gentlements welcome to The Circus! – Goannas89

Before stepping inside let’s take a look at the back. Continuing the general look of the Circus tent the back is solid and looks great, it’s rare a set looks this good from all angles. Also aroi D the back are random weeds, flowers and Circus equipment.

Lift of the removable top and we’re presented with a better look inside and with included. I love the Modular aspect of this idea and having access to the interior is much needed, to rearrange the performers and setup scenes/photographs.

From a bird’s-eye view we can see inside and how surprisingly spacious the set is. There’s a central stage area, a viewers balcony, a preparation area and more, take a look at the photo below to see for yourself.

Having been to a local travelling Circus recently this is spot on and brings back fun memories, seeing Goannas89 has included some key items is nice, from the two opposite clicking masts/poles and the Clowns see-saw, to the Jugglers accessories and lifting weights.

The product idea comprises of approximately 3000 pieces and comes with 11 Minifigures. It also takes up a surprising amount of space as it measures 25.7cm deep, 40.3cm long and 27.3cm high. I would love to see this set make it to the review stage and ultimately become a real LEGO set, it would fit perfectly into a Park in my City.
