I AM GROOT! To be precise, Baby Groot, thanks to an alternative LEGO build by Joffre Bricks!
The model transforms the LEGO Cute Animals (31382) into a small but totally adorable brick-built Baby Groot. The talented designer, Joffre Bricks, must have thought “how can I make this already cute set even cuter?“, and he did, with flying colours. The alt build looks just like the character from the movies and the Disney+ shorts, complete with flower accessory.
It always amazing me just how creative some people are, being able to take the parts from jus tone set and make something completely different and totally unrelated to the original set. The eyes alone add so much life to the tiny fella, combine that with the stumpy arms & legs, and the bright green shoots, it makes for a fully round representation of Baby Groot.
The designer has done an incredible job with the build and would be on my list of possible additions if I had the time and original set to build it from. If the images are anything to go by it’ll be a blast to put together. Joffre Bricks has produced a high quality design that will sit amongst a display with ease and be the centrepiece, every Marvel fan should have one of these.
