Minifigures are a part of most sets and come in all shapes and colours, but figuring out which ones have value is difficult to pin point and often estimates are all over the place. Knowing where to look is half the battle won, with different platforms offering vastly different prices.

With the likes of Bricklink and Brickset we can usually workout a rough price range and go from there. Using the latter, we’ll show you the top ten Minifigures of 2023 that are currently topping the high rollers list. If you have any of the listed Minifigures below and aren’t to keen on them you may want to look into taking advantage of their current price tag.

Starting at number 10 and obviously finishing at number 1, we’ll run through them and list their values both new and used. Prices are taken from an average Bricklink cost over the past 5 months and are correct at the time of writing, an update will come towards the end of the year. Let us know via the comments below if you have any of these 2023 Minifigure and if you’re surprised by their value.

Number 10 is from the LEGO Monkie Kid theme, kicking off with a very funky looking character breaking us into the top ten. I’m particularly liking his bushy hot-pink beard.

  • Appears in: 1 set (80049)
  • LEGO Monkie Kid
  • Value New: £15.60

LEGO Star Wars is a popular theme, with representation from the Light Side. Who doesn’t like Luke Skywalker, especially in his classic Jedi Master outfit!?

SW1262: Luke Skywalker – Jedi Master, Shaggy Hair

  • Appears in: 1 set (75352)
  • LEGO Star Wars
  • Value New: £15.92

LEGO Ninjago do some awesome looking Minifigures and this one is no exception. The Detective torso and trilby are such cool pieces and look that much better for being on grey elements.

NJO837: Zane – Detective Zane

  • Appears in: 1 set (71799)
  • LEGO Ninjago
  • Value New: £15.99

Heading deep under water we have The Little Mermaid from the recent movie remake by Disney. I must say the set itself doesn’t grab my fancy at all but this and the other Mermaid Minifigures do, one day I’ll pick these up, but not today at those prices.

DIS110: Ariel, Mermaid (Medium Nougat)

  • Appears in: 1 set (43225)
  • LEGO Disney
  • Value New: £16.56
  • Value used: £23.27

Heading back to a Galaxy Far, Far Away, Emperor Palpatine enters the 2023 ring in 6th place. It baffles me that the usually the Used price is more than with it costs New, definitely some Dark Side trickery going on here.

SW1263: Emperor Palpatine – Spongy Cape, Hood Basic, Yellow Eyes

  • Appears in: 1 set (75352)
  • LEGO Star Wars
  • Value New: £17.22
  • Value used: £21.28

The next Minifigure falls into the category of ‘it’s exclusive to a big set, therefore it’s expensive‘, granted that category is a tad long and made up, but it’s true. The LEGO Icons Pac-Man Arcade (10323) is a big set and a pricey one at that, making the Minifigure hard to get and bumping the price up.

TWN465: PAC-MAN Arcade Game Player

  • Appears in: 1 set (10323)
  • LEGO Icons
  • Value New: £17.36

I’d hazard a guess at this next one and say it’s not the Minifigure that commands the price here, it’s the dark purple helmet and matching Airtanks. This has caused many fans to purchase a particular set just to get their hands on those two parts and only those parts.

HOL319: Lunar New Year Parade Participant – Male, Red Tang Shirt, Dark Purple Legs, Space Helmet, and Air Tanks

  • Appears in: 1 set (80111)
  • LEGO Seasonal
  • Value New: £18.67
  • Value used: £28.45

I don’t know too much about LEGO Monkie Kid but this next chap looks cool, with his round spectacles, gold headware and matching outfit. He looks like he means business and also here to do your taxes.

MK120: Mr. Tang – Dark Red Robe, Gold Headdress

  • Appears in: 1 set (89045)
  • LEGO Monkie Kid
  • Value New: £19.70

Next up is another big Disney franchise and fan favourite, LEGO Marvel. This character is relatively new to the MCU, making his debut in The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 movie.

SH877: Adam Warlock

  • Appears in: 1 set (76255)
  • LEGO Marvel
  • Value New: £22.92

Finishing off with a staple of LEGO, the Star Wars theme. It has saved them on many occasions and is a fan favourite, for very good reason. The Minifigures are more often than not very sought-after with some demanding silly money on the secondary market.

SW1267: Luke Skywalker – Pilot Suit, Printed Arms, Black Boots (75355):

  • Appears in: 1 set (75355)
  • LEGO Star Wars
  • Value New: £33.75
  • Value used: £19.36
