LEGO officially dropped news and images last week of this years LEGO House exclusive set, I Love Billund (40507). The 1,404 piece build will retail for 749 DKK (around £85/$120/€100) and feature Billund’s most famous landmarks including LEGOLAND Billund, the LEGO House, the LEGO CampusOle Kirk’s House, and the LEGO System House.

Is has been a tradition since 2020 to celebrate the history of the company and the many milestones it has had. From the humble beginnings of wooden toy, the creation of the iconic Minifigure, right up to modern day sets and themes. It’s been a long journey but one that all LEGO fans love and appreciate. The Wooden Duck (40501)

The original wooden duck is one of the most iconic features in LEGO history and you can find the wooden duck replicated in LEGO bricks many places throughout LEGO House – in the Tree of Creativity in World Explorer and even in the Red Zone. The LEGO House exclusive set was released in 2020 and based on the Wooden Duck. It included its own black display base and two printed tiles – the perfect set to kick off a long line of exclusives. 

The Brick Moulding Machine (40502)

The LEGO Brick Moulding Machine was an exclusive LEGO House Limited Edition set released in March 2021. It represents a pivotal moment in the LEGO Group‘s history, marking the transition from wooden toy manufacturing to plastic injection moulding.

Dagny Holm – Master Builder (40503)

This set is a tribute to the very first Master Builder in the LEGO Group and another iconic part of the LEGO history. Dagny Holm was the first LEGO Master Builder, and she made a massive impact on model designing with her way of working with LEGO bricks in a cubistic and realistic way and her legacy can still be found in many areas within the LEGO Group.

A Minifigure Tribute (40504)

The LEGO Pirate is a celebration of the LEGO minifigure – an indispensable part of the LEGO history since 1978. For 45 years, the tiny character has made it possible for children and adults to step into any adventure built in LEGO bricks.

That’s why the 2023 LEGO House Limited Edition set had to be a heartfelt tribute to the more than 10 billion minifigures that have conquered the world since the launch. And it’s done with a big scale version of the legendary Captain Redbeard minifigure – now with special details!

LEGO Building Systems (40505)

The first System in Play product, Town Plan No.1, launched in 1955 and immediately established the LEGO System in Play Idea as the cornerstone of the LEGO brand. The innovative System in Play concept originated from the second-generation owner, Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, who aspired to ‘create toys that prepare a child for life – appealing to its imagination and developing the creative urge and joy of creation that are the driving forces in every human being’.

LEGO Fabuland Tribute (40506)

The set celebrates the magic of storytelling, with Fabuland being the first LEGO theme to introduce this concept. The iconic characters each have rich backstories set in expansive universes, with adventures unfolding across various media, including animated TV series, books, comics, and more. Released in 2025.

I Love Billund (40507)

This year’s exclusive LEGO® House Product celebrates Billund – not just as a town, but as the birthplace of LEGO play. Brick by brick, it brings together stories of origin, imagination and a strong sense of belonging.
A true must-have for LEGO fans, the set is a chance to bring home a piece of the very hometown of the LEGO brick. It will be on shelves from 1 March 2026 and is only available in Billund.
