One of the latest designs to gain the required 10,000 supporters at LEGO Ideas is based on an IP that started in the mid 90s – JUMANJI!
The design and build is a culmination of several builders collectively known as Brick Mind – the members are @dream_n_bricks , @__brickup__ and @itavix_bricks. They have come together to bring the world a potential LEGO Ideas set based on the 1995 movie JUMANJI. This pure nostalgia trip invites imagination, danger, and wonder into builders lives as you construct and play with the classic board game that helped define an entire generation. I personally love this movie and have seen it many times, the news of this idea gaining the required 10,000 supporters and in the running to be an official set, brings a smile to my face.
The project recreates the famous Parrish Mansion with a special feature at the heart of the model: the house opens into two halves to reveal the hidden JUMANJI board game stored inside.
My goal was not only to recreate a memorable movie location, but also to capture the mystery, excitement, and sense of discovery that made Jumanji so unforgettable. – Brick Mind

The exterior is designed to capture the mansion’s unmistakable look, with its elegant façade, detailed windows, columns, rooftop elements, and surrounding greenery. Built with 4,981 pieces and measuring 43 x 48 x 31 cm, the model has a strong display presence while offering a rich level of detail. Once opened, it reveals the brick-built game board beneath the house, transforming the build from a display model into a cinematic tribute to the magical object that drives the entire story. Inside the mansion, several of the most iconic rooms and scenes from the film have been recreated: the living room where the adventure begins, the library capturing the exact moment a stampede of animals bursts out from the shelves, young Alan’s bedroom, and a kitchen overrun by monkeys, along with many other Easter eggs hidden throughout the model.
The project also includes 7 Minifigures inspired by the film: Alan Parrish (normal version and jungle version), Judy Shepherd, Peter Shepherd, Sarah Whittle, Van Pelt, and Carl Bentley.
Unfortunately reaching the required goal of 10,000 supporters doesn’t guarantee it’ll be made into a real-life LEGO set, but there is hope for fans as the LEGO Ideas team will debate on and choose which sets will be lucky enough to make it through sometime next/this year – we wish Brick Mind the best of luck in the next stage.
