The popular arcade racer LEGO 2K Drive will soon be removed from digital storefronts, followed by server closure next year!
From 19th May 2026 the game will be delisted from digital storefronts, removing the option to purchase any version of it. This will be followed by servers being switched off 31st May 2027, in just over a years time. All the games online functions such as online multiplayer, downloadable vehicles, and other features will be terminated and no longer accessible.
Having been a fan of the game when it first released, I will be sad to see it go. But I totally understand the decision to terminate it being a 3 year old game. The player base must be pretty nonexistent by now and the cost to keep it running out weights what it makes. This is my opinion anyway. We hope something like this returned in the future as 2K promised a series of games but have yet to see anything from them. So long LEGO 2K Drive, it was fun!
