The creator of two mini-scale Project Hail Mary ships, SawyerBrickTime, is back with something a little different, Godzilla from the 1998 movie!

To build your very own Godzilla, before the LEGO Ideas set releases (whenever that may be), you’ll need a copy of the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 T-Rex (31151). The talented creator has taken the dark green dinosaur and given it a new lease of life by transforming it into the 1998 movie version of Godzilla. Taking heavy inspiration from the included T.Rex design, the model expands upon the building techniques to create a larger, more screen-accurate Kaiju packed with poseability and personality.

Built using almost every piece from the set, including some of the spare parts, this model was designed with both articulation and posability in mind. The tail, jaw, shoulders, elbows, legs, and neck all feature several display opportunities.

Whether you know him as Godzilla, Zilla, or the biggest or fastest thing ever to terrorize Manhattan, this alternate build makes an awesome addition to any Kaiju fans collection and pairs perfectly alongside other LEGO creature builds for a full monster-movie display shelf. What’s better is that it requires no additional parts and uses pieces already found in the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 T-Rex (31151).

The designer has done an incredible job with the build and would be on most fans list to add to their collections. If the images are anything to go by it’ll be a blast to put together. SawyerBrickTime has produced a high quality design that will sit an any shelf with ease and not look out of place at all.

To build your own, visit Rebrickable and purchase the instructions for just $2.99, it’s a steal when you think just how much work went into the build itself and the production of the instruction manual. You’ll need to have the original LEGO Creator 3-in-1 T-Rex (31151) set. Check out the images below and share your thoughts in the comments section. Please support the creator by purchasing the instructions via Rebrickable.
