We’re back with another awesome alternative set build, this time transforming the sweet little LEGO DreamZzz Zoey’s Time Owl (71494) into the Derpy Tiger from Kpop Demon Hunters!
The talented designer, Joffre Bricks, has taken an existing set and transformed it into the nightmarish but totally lovable Tiger and Three-Eyed Magpie from the hit Netflix film Kpop Demon Hunters. The LEGO DreamZzz Zoey’s Time Owl (71494) set was released in June of 2025, it allows fans to build the Owl from the DreamZzz TV show. Joffre Bricks has done a great job in recreating the Tiger from the parts available in the original set.
The head is great and features the big eyes that gives the character it’s unique look, along with the dark purples and other twilight colours. With the many DOTS elements on offer, creating the fluffy like fur and the different layers that may up the Derpy Tiger.
With his fluffy blue body and slightly creepy facial features, paired with cat-like curiosity and playful behavior, he’s the perfect mix of cute and weird—and I was completely hooked.
The alternative design can be found on their Rebrickable account, where you’ll also find the instructions which cost just $3, a very appealing and affordable price, and at the end you’ll have a Derpy Tiger made of LEGO.
