LEGO Doctor Who is a scarce thing, but thanks to Minifigs.me fans have been spoilt over the years. All generations of the Doctor have been made into custom LEGO Minifigures along with some of his more memorable companions – today’s features however concentrates on the brand new minibuilds, the TARDIS consoles, Daleks and K9!
I’m a fan myself, I like watching Doctor Who when it’s on the telly, I also have a small selection of the Minifigures From Minifigs.me. Official LEGO Doctor Who is very limited, with no signs of returning, so Minifigs.me have stepped-up to fill that timey-wimey void and given us a selection of new brick-built treats. Amongst them are two new Dalek variants, Supreme Evil Dalek and Cult Evil Dalek. Both look amazing and come with printed head-discs and a both that can swivel.
Also available is K9, who looks amazing with the printed parts on the sides, back and the head. It’ll make the perfect companion for your Doctor Who Minifigures and other minibuild.
Perhaps the icing on the LEGO cake are the two brick-built TARDIS consoles and the accompanying acrylic backdrops. We’ve had a couple of Minifigs.me backdrops before and they are awesome, fully printed on the back to shine through to the front. Attached to larger bricks, the solid acrylic panels stand on two 6×8 plates, which has enough room for the included console and separate Minifigures.
The two available represent different eras of the Doctor, from the original console to a more modern one. Both are built with genuine LEGO parts and feature custom designs and prints by the Minifigs.me team. They make for perfect collectors items or as gifts to your favourite Doctor Who fan.
