The LEGO Icons Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship (10365) and tie-in gift with purchase Jack Sparrow’s Compass (5009609) is sold out worldwide!
The Pirate Ship set has only just gone live and has already gone on backorder and the gift with purchase has completely sold out globally. The set is based on a black pirate ship that Caption Jack Sparrow…captains. Taken straight from the hugely successful Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise from Disney. It comprises of 2,862 pieces and retails for £299.99/$379.99. Its an impressive looking build that features many movie references, details and plays features, it also has 8 Minifigures including Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Gibbs, Cotton, Anamaria, Marty, Elizabeth Swann, and Hector Barbossa.
During the Insiders Early Access period, which started just two days ago, both sets have been snapped up by eager fans. On the UK website it listed the expected shipping date of early November, which isn’t too long to wait, although fans ordering it now on backorder won’t be able to claim the Compass GWP as it has completely sold out. If it will reappear some time in the future is anyone’s guess, but it is unlikely. We’ve seen it hit the secondary market at prices of £80 to £100+.
