This week’s Minifigure Monday is Gollum (LOR031)

This weeks Minifigure Monday comes with a little confession, up until yesterday, I had never seen Lord Of The Rings

We’ve started to watch each Sunday as one of our family films to watch each week. So what better way to celebrate that than to choose a LOTR minifigure this week.

There were two Gollum minifigures that were released, one being this version ‘narrow eyed’ which was in two sets (79000 Riddles for the ring and 71218 Gollum fun pack, part of the Lego dimensions range).

There’s another Gollum that looks very similar to this one but has wider eyes and the mouth more open, this was from 1 set (9470 Shelob attack).

My thoughts:

There won’t be a lot to really say about this one as it’s quite a unique style minifigure.

The whole body and head is one complete mold with just the arms being separate pieces. The same arm pieces used for Star Wars battle droids.

There is some great printing to the face which resembles the Gollum well.

He has 1 accessory being a fish.

I may have to give him a gold ring so he gets his ‘precious’ back.
