A few weeks ago LEGO Ideas ran a poll to give LEGO fans a choice of which iconic Star Wars ship will be added to the Ultimate Collectors Series (UCS).
Well the wait is over and the votes are in, and the winner is….
Over half who voted, voted for the Republic Gunship! Who’s excited?!
Coming in second place is the Nebulon B Escort Frigate
And 3rd is the TIE Bomber

What happens now?
I’m afraid we can’t reveal many details now, but the Republic Gunship WILL be one of the next UCS Star Wars sets. It’s time for the designers here at LEGO Group to get designing! And I imagine watch Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones to refresh their memories.
But wait, there’s more!
We would also like to announce an extra surprise, that three lucky voters have been randomly drawn and will be receiving the UCS Republic Gunship as and when it is released, as well as a 75255 LEGO Star Wars Yoda! So keep your eyes on your inbox, as three of you will be contacted very soon.
