The LumiBricks Steampunk Steamphant 11014 is the next set in the Steampunk theme and is available now!

This is a slightly different choice of build for me as I don’t usually stray to far from Modular Buildings when it comes to LumiBricks, but I must say the Steampunk Steamphant was a pleasant surprise. The gears and golden accents that form an industrial-textured exterior, the mechanical Elephants proportions are spot on – the head, limbs, trunk, and tail are all fully adjustable. The beast can be put in various poses such as standing, walking, sitting, and crouching.

The set includes 1,055 pieces, 14 numbered bags, 10 printed elements, LED lights, and a clear assembly guide. It’s a great gift for fans and highly collectible for display. The RRP is affordable, coming in at around £60/$80. You can save yourself 10% by using our affiliate link below and code THEBRICKPOST during checkout.

It features 10 exclusive printed parts, over 10 roll-coated metallic-effect components, and a special Minifigure and cape. The Keeper of the Elephant carries a walking stick and wears a cloak, evoking the story of a human and their mechanical companion wandering the wasteland together.

The build was enjoyable and like I mentioned before was a nice surprise, as it’s not a set I’d usually go for. The main body of the Steamphant was built first and includes a covering where the traveller can rest at night. Inside is a selection of trinkets, one of which lights up. The light kit is included as standard, as with all LumiBricks sets, it adds so much to the overall look and really comes alive at night!

Next is the four legs, two front and two back, each made in the same way but slightly mirrored. They have great articulation and can be positioned in many ways, I particularly like the standing at attention pose, ready for battle. The last main part of the build is the head, this is done last and once built simply pops into place. Again this has some movement, side-to-side and a little up & down, not much but it’s something, allows of different stances and looks.

The overall build is great and the proportions look about right, the ears are my favourite part as they can flap. Popping the bobies canopy on and the Minifigure really is the finishing touch and once on loom badass!

Thank you to LumiBricks for sending us this set for review, we really appreciate it. The RRP is affordable, coming in at around £60/$80. You can save yourself 10% by using our affiliate link below and code THEBRICKPOST during checkout.
