Hands On: LEGO Animal Crossing Tom Nook and Flying Present (30731) Polybag!

LEGO polybags are a fan favourite, their small size and usually much more affordable price tag draws a lot of fans in, especially if they contain a unique piece or exclusive Minifigure. Today we are taking a closer look at the LEGO Animal Crossing Tom Nook and Flying Present (30731) Polybag!

The new LEGO polybag features Tom Nook, a flying present and a small section of landscape. The 33 piece minibuild is a great way for fans to get a taster of what the larger sets entail, we ourself have had a few of the smaller sets in the theme, so we already knew what to expect. As fans of the Nintendo video game will know, it recreates the floating presents seen randomly whilst playing the game. To aquire them you simply shoot them down and retrieve the goodies inside, which are usually clothing, furniture, or recipes. The Tom Nook Minifigure unfortunately isn’t exclusive to this polybag but it is now the cheapest way to acquire him. We’ve seen the character in LEGO form before, with the same head, torso, and legs, in a much more expensive set – LEGO Animal Crossing Nook’s Cranny & Rosie’s House (77050), which retails for £64.99.
