The Pigeon Lady from Home Alone 2: Lost In New York has arrived at The Brick Post HQ for review, here is what we think of the latest addition from Minifigs.me!

Fans of the movie and franchise will instantly recognise the character, in her long dark red raggedy coat, her black bowler-style hat and of course the Pigeons that flock around her. If you’re unfamiliar with the movie, which first released in 1992, it Follows the story”of Kevin McCallister, who is left alone again, this time in New York. The “Pigeon Lady” was a homeless woman who Kevin McCallister befriends while exploring New York City. She often spends her time with pigeons in Central Park. Although Kevin was initially frightened of her, he later learned that she was polite, educated, kind-hearted – despite her life going astray. When Kevin was attacked by Harry and Marv in the park, the Pigeon Lady rescues him.

Only one Pigeon included

Minifigs.me have done it again, this custom Minifigure looks magical and spot-on to the on-screen counterpart. As usual it’s printed onto genuine LEGO parts, even including a LEGO Pigeon figure. Sadly only one Pigeon is included but you can buy more from the store if needed, Minifigs.me gifted me two extra for a better Pigeon experience. The team have done an incredible job with the design along with a fully printed torso and legs, they went all out and printed on the front, sides and back. They have certainly caught the charm from the movie and it’s one custom Minifigure I’m happy to have it in my personal collection.

The choice of hat is an interesting one, the bowler hat they went for suits the overall look but I feel there maybe a better choice out there, perhaps the more floppy-style hat found in the Scarecrow CMF from Series 11 may have been a better choice?
