The LEGO Group have revealed plans to build a cutting-edge new campus in Billund!

LEGO have been expanding their portfolio recently with multiple new factories being built arou d the glibe, the latest addition is to be built in Billund and will focus on innovation and provide a base for those working in Product Marketing & Development.

With construction of the cutting-edge LEGO Innovation Campus will start in 2024 and is set to be complete & operational by 2027. Read more about it below via the official statement.

The LEGO Group reveals new plans for cutting-edge Innovation Campus in Billund

Billund, Denmark – December 21, 2022: The LEGO Group has today unveiled revised plans for a brand-new cutting-edge Innovation Campus in Billund, Denmark. The new campus will provide a home for thousands of talented colleagues working within Product Marketing & Development functions and supporting Engineering & Quality functions in an inspiring and creative workplace environment.

Construction of this state-of-the-art building will commence in 2024. Innovation Campus will be located at Kløvermarken in Billund, making it the company’s third grand campus in Billund and forming part of its plans to significantly expand and upgrade its global headquarters. The original plan to build an office building in the centre of Billund was changed to accommodate the anticipated growth in number of employees.

The opening of the new 43,000 m2 building is scheduled for 2027.
