According to Reuters, LEGO have closed all 81 of its Russia based store indefinitely, laying off almost 100 employees!

A LEGO spokesperson has stated that the “LEGO Group has decided to indefinitely cease commercial operations in Russia given the continued extensive disruption in the operating environment.

This is due to the “extensive disruption” that is running throughout the country and has lead to LEGO terminating their contract with Inventive Retail Group who operates all 81 LEGO stores there.

If you remember, back in March, the LEGO Group ceased all shipments to Russia because of their sanctions they imposed on Ukraine.
