One of my favourite things to do whilst visiting a LEGO Store was to pickup that months free Minibuild polybag but due to the past COVID restrictions this simple pleasure stopped and the long running experience was retired.

But the Minibuilds are making a comeback, of sorts, in the form of digital instructions which require you to use your personal LEGO brick supply.

As part of the new Creative Play hub, every week you’ll be able to find a new Minibuild to get stuck into, ranging from brick-built animals and characters to vehicles and more, the only catch is that you’ll no longer build them instore but from the comfort of your own home.

As an incentive, not that one is needed, LEGO are offering a gift to participants that take a photo of their creation and showing it to a member of staff in store. The gift is a small LEGO DOTS Felt Craft pack.

You’ll find more details and participating stores at the Creative Play hub, here you’ll also find the weeks Minibuild instructions.
